Welcome to Bhagwati Vidya Mandir
As the Managing Director, it is my privilege to welcome prospective students and parents who are considering becoming part of the ever-growing Bhagwati Vidya Mandir family. In today's education system, learning is often driven by a system of rewards and punishments rather than a genuine curiosity or desire to know. Research has shown, however, that individuals of all ages learn best when they are self-motivated. At Bhagwati Vidya Mandir, we believe that the foundations of meaningful education lie in curiosity, playfulness, and sociability.
Just as we cannot make a horse drink unless it is thirsty, we cannot force students to learn unless they are genuinely inspired. We encourage our teachers to create a learning environment where spontaneity is valued, rote memorization is discouraged, and experiential learning is at the core. Through smart classes, interactive projectors, hands-on activities, and well-equipped labs, students are guided to understand concepts with real-life relevance—whether it's visiting a bank to learn about financial systems, a railway station for understanding reservations, or historical monuments to appreciate our rich heritage.
We place a strong emphasis on value-based education. Our students regularly visit old age homes and orphanages, engaging in meaningful interactions, sharing meals, and offering assistance. These experiences instill compassion, empathy, and a sense of social responsibility.
As Francis Bacon once said, "Reading maketh a full man; conference a ready man; and writing an exact man." At Bhagwati Vidya Mandir, we nurture this belief with a well-stocked library that offers a wide range of books to ignite young minds. For our budding artists and musicians, we provide dedicated music and art rooms, equipped with instruments and canvas boards to help them express their creativity.
We also recognize that a healthy mind thrives in a healthy body. Sports and outdoor activities are integral to our curriculum, helping students stay active and energized while instilling discipline, teamwork, and resilience.
What began as a humble vision over 40 years ago—to provide quality education—has today blossomed into a thriving institution. While we take pride in our accomplishments, we know there is still much more to achieve in the years ahead. With God's grace and your continued support, we aim to reach even greater heights.
